My gift for Jessica's baby shower was a fleece tie blanket made with a safari print and bright green fleece. It seemed to be a perfect fit to her baby shower theme. I cut the blanket up into 9 smaller sections, though, and re-tied it to give it more texture and design than just simply tying only the edges. And then I left the green panel whole and just tied around the edges to the safari panel. (I also made the whole blanket fairly large so that the baby could grow into it- something I learned as my son outgrew his baby blankets.)
