Cakes: Breast Cancer Fundraiser

A friend of mine was having a breast cancer bake sale fundraiser. Her mom is a breast cancer survivor, and she herself, just recently found that she has a gene that increases her chances of getting breast cancer from 8% for the average woman to an 87% chance in her lifetime. Since my own grandmother passed away from cancer, after it spread from her breast to her bone marrow and then to her bones, I have a soft place in my heart for this cause. So, I decided to do an adaptation of my rainbow cake (soon to be in another post) and make a 6-layer tri-color cake. This is how it turned out:
